Feel the difference.
MediMassage rose to help fill the gap of specialized soft tissue management in the healthcare field. After years of working in the field of physical medicine, our founder was frustrated at the lack of training most clinicians had in manual therapy. So she founded MediMassage in 2022 with one person in mind; you.

Valeria was inspired to pursue massage therapy after seeing firsthand the comfort and relief it brought to others. Growing up, her family often visited sobadores, traditional healers who used massage to relieve pain and discomfort. Witnessing the positive impact of therapeutic touch sparked her passion for helping others find relief from the physical demands of everyday life.
As both a licensed massage therapist and licensed esthetician, Valeria believes massage therapy provides an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the body, and support the body’s natural healing process. She values creating a calm, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, cared for, and leave feeling better than when they arrived.
For Valeria, the most rewarding part of her work is building trusting relationships with her clients and continually expanding her knowledge to provide the highest level of care. She is fascinated by the human body and enjoys helping each client achieve greater comfort, relaxation, and overall wellness.
Outside of the treatment room, Valeria enjoys bike riding, exploring local forest preserves, spending summer days at Lake Michigan, attending barre classes, and relaxing with her cat, Pixie.
“Our bodies often tell a story, I value providing a space for you to care for both your mind and body and leave feeling better than when you arrived.”

Ranna began her path in wellness over a decade ago, weighing a career in physical therapy before ultimately choosing massage therapy. She graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in 2013 and later earned her E-RYT 200 yoga certification, allowing her to seamlessly blend therapeutic massage with the principles of yoga to support her patients’ recovery and overall well-being. Currently, Ranna is pursuing advanced continuing education in TMJ therapy to better support patients experiencing jaw pain and facial tension. While she enjoys working with people of all ages and a wide range of conditions, Ranna has developed a particular passion for post-surgical and post-injury bodywork. Her treatment approach focuses on helping patients restore movement, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love — whether that means regaining shoulder mobility, training for a marathon, or simply feeling better in their day-to-day life. Ranna believes massage therapy is an essential form of self-care that supports both physical and mental wellness. She values its ability to decrease pain, relieve muscle tension, enhance flexibility, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system — helping reduce stress and promote a sense of calm and balance.
Outside of the treatment room, she enjoys studying dream work, reading, jazz music, photography, and spending time on her yoga mat — something she truly can’t live without.
